Emil Lederer · 1921
Emil Lederer’s 1921 commission intervention briefly raises the legal feasibility of taking over enterprises. He invokes an earlier experience, then confines the outstanding question to juridical scrutiny:
Wir hatten damals auch Unternehmungen zu übernehmen. Die Frage wäre nur juristisch nachzuprüfen, ob darin eine Schwierigkeit liegt.
English translation: We also had enterprises to take over at that time. The question would only need to be examined legally to determine whether this presents a difficulty.
The move is tentative: past practice frames the issue, but does not establish legal validity. The recorded turn specifies neither the enterprises nor the potential obstacle; its contribution is to identify the legal question requiring examination.
