Emil Lederer · 1920
This recorded commission speaking turn challenges an inference about coal valuation:
Dann können Sie nicht sagen, daß die letzten Käufer den Wert der Kohle mit 35 schätzen.
English translation: Then you cannot say that the final buyers value the coal at 35.
Lederer disputes what may be attributed to the final buyers, without offering an alternative valuation. His intervention concerns the justification of a claim about buyers’ assessments. The single sentence preserves neither the preceding premise nor the unit attached to “35,” limiting reconstruction of the dispute.
