About this work

Emil Lederer: Discussion contribution on coal mining (1920)

In this brief official commission intervention, Lederer asks whether the principle under discussion is already covered by the allocation of piecework pay and bonuses:

English translation: I wanted to ask whether this principle is not covered by the expression concerning the allocation of piecework pay and bonuses. All bonuses are already awarded today according to the output achieved.

His question links the proposed principle to existing remuneration practices. The reference to coal output supplies his practical justification, although the excerpt does not identify the principle itself or record a reply.
